3.3 Duties of the Asylum Granting State and the Asylee

The state's duties: (i) the non-refoulement (the cornerstone — 3.4); (ii) the non-rejection at the frontier (the entry's allowance at least for the assessment — the debated but claimed duty); (iii) the reception's minimum (the humane treatment — the life-health-safety floor); (iv) the status's regularisation (the documentation, the residence's permission); (v) the neutral-and- non-political character (the asylum not granted for the armed expeditions — the state's duty to prevent the territory's hostile use); (vi) the origin-state's respect (the non-derogation of the diplomatic relations — the asylum's grant within the international law's limits). The asylee's duties: (i) the host law's obedience (the local laws' respect — the refugee's duty of conformity); (ii) the no-hostile-activity duty (the origin-state's non-subversion — the political activity's restraint; the 1951's Article 2's general-obligations face); (iii) the public-order respect (the camp-and-community discipline); (iv) the honesty in the claim (the fraud's status-cancellation — Unit 4's face); (v) the cooperation (the documentation-and-reporting duties).
