The forms: the volunteer tradition (the individual lawyer's conscience) and the mandatory debates (the organised profession's expectation — the bar's pro-bono targets, the licensing renewal's service component in some jurisdictions; the Nepali practice described functionally); the institutional faces (the firms' pro-bono policies, the NGOs' partnerships, the bar associations' rosters). The rationale: the monopoly's reciprocity (Unit 1's trust logic — the licence's public duty discharged in service).
