The registration's act: the registrar's formal entry — the documents accepted, the particulars recorded, the company's name entered in the register of companies (the public registry: the incorporation's-and-the subsequent filings' record — the constructive notice's public source (Unit 3.4)); the registration's effects (the personhood's beginning in law — the registered company's birth); the register's ongoing life (the changes filed — the directors, the capital, the office, the charges: the registry's continuous-discipline); the OCR's role and responsibilities (the registrar's examination duty, the records' custody, the public access, the enforcement's faces — the registrar's office as the corporate law's administrative home).
