The Mass Movement (Jana Andolan) of Falgun 7–Chaitra 2046 (18 February–April 1990): fifty days of demonstrations, strikes, curfews and killings ended in the King's proclamation lifting the ban on parties (8 April 1990), the interim government under K.P. Bhattarai, and — after the Constitution Recommendation Commission — the Constitution of the Kingdom of Nepal 2047 (9 November 1990): constitutional monarchy + multiparty democracy + fundamental rights + judicial review — the order that lasted until 2063's interim turn (the story of your Constitutional Law course).
