4 Nepal

Nepal is a party to the Chicago Convention and operates within ICAO standards. Domestic legislation is the Civil Aviation Act, which provides for the registration of aircraft, licensing of personnel, airworthiness, investigation of accidents and the regulation of air services; the Civil Aviation Authority is the regulator. International services are conducted under bilateral air service agreements concluded with other states, which fix the routes, capacity and the airlines designated by each side.
