Public documents — records of a public office, certified copies admissible in place of the original. Books of account — entries admissible as evidence of the transactions recorded, subject to the account being kept in the ordinary course. Published facts — statements of a public nature in books or newspapers may be used to prove the fact published, not the truth of everything asserted in the publication.
