3 Election law

Election law is the body of rules that makes the choice real: who may vote, who may stand, how campaigns are financed, how votes are cast and counted, and how disputes are decided. Its sources in Nepal are the constitutional provisions on the franchise, the Election Commission and the election of the federal and provincial legislatures; the statute on the election of members; the Election Commission's rules; and the decisions of the courts and of the Commission on disputes.
