4 Guardianship and Curatorship

Guardianship (of the person): for minors without parental care (orphans; the parents' incapacity-and-absence) and for persons of unsound mind / intellectual-and-psychosocial disability (the adult guardianship's protective-and-rights-based tension); the statutory order of guardians (the surviving parent; then the near relatives; the court-appointed guardian); the ward office's-and court's appointment machinery (the Children's Act's guardianship framework; the district court's inherent jurisdiction); the guardian's duties-and- accountability (the child's property-and-welfare; the removal grounds);2.
