Law Info Nepal (“this site,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it in line with the Constitution of Nepal, 2015 (Article 28 – Right to Privacy) and the Individual Privacy Act, 2075 (2018) and its accompanying Individual Privacy Regulation, 2077 (2020). - Contact form / email / WhatsApp: When you reach out via the Contact page, we receive your name, email address (or WhatsApp number), and the content of your message.

- Server logs: Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and maintenance purposes.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, or other tracking tools. If this changes, we will update this policy accordingly.

We retain contact and comment information only as long as necessary for the purposes above, and we take reasonable technical measures to protect it from unauthorized access. However, no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
5. Third-Party Links
Our posts may link to external websites (such as university notices or government portals). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites and encourage you to review their policies separately.
6. Grievance & Legal Recourse
Nepal does not currently have a dedicated data protection authority. If you believe your privacy rights under the Individual Privacy Act, 2075 have been violated, you may file a complaint at the relevant District Court within the statutory limitation period. We encourage you to contact us directly first so we can address any concern promptly.
