After Tribhuvan University’s Faculty of Law, Dean’s Office publishes the retotalling result of the B.A.LL.B entrance exam, the Merit List Form will open from Bhadra 9.
Who can apply
- Only candidates who sat the TU B.A.LL.B entrance exam and whose names appear in the final TU result are eligible.
- Simply passing the entrance exam is not enough — your name must be on the officially published final list.

Reserved seats are allocated by category as follows. The same distribution applies to Nepal Law Campus (160), National Law College (120), Prithvinarayan Campus (80), and each of the three 70-seat colleges (Mahendra Multiple Campus Nepalgunj, Mahendra Multiple Campus Dharan, Butwal Multiple Campus) — the Dean’s Office notice provides one quota table per seat-block size, not per individual college.

Note: For the Indigenous/Janajati category, applicants must apply based on the classification and “top two” (टप टु) basis set by the National Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities.
How the process works
- Visit your chosen college in person and fill out the Merit List Form.
- Colleges rank applicants by exam rank, applying reserved-quota seats first.
- The First Merit List is published — selected students must complete admission within the college’s prescribed deadline.
- Students who don’t complete admission within the deadline forfeit their seat.
- The college then automatically publishes the Second Merit List to fill remaining seats.
- This cycle continues until all seats are filled.
